The Historic Terrace Theatre

Welcome

Welcome to the Historic Terrace Theatre

When the Terrace originally opened on May 23rd, 1951, it was considered to be one of the most glamourous theatres in the country.  People would come from across the country to see this beautiful movie palace, and take back ideas to replicate parts of it in their own theatres.  Since being shuttered in the late 1990’s, the Terrace has fallen into a state of disrepair.  The mission of Save the Historic Terrace Theatre is the restoration and reopening of this classic cinema.

Thank you for taking time to visit this important piece of moviegoing history.  Take a moment to read through about our past, our present, and our vision for the future.  It is through the support of people like you that we will be able to Save the Historic Terrace Theatre!
